Welcome to Barcelona, where a recent synchronized swimming competition showcased the amazing architecture of the city…
It is, however, a city also known for something else:
FOOD!
It’s A Barcelona Tapas Battle!
Alex and I went to Barcelona in the spring, and had a series of amazing adventures…you can access more of them by searching “Barcelona” from the home page…and you can also go to my food blog: Biteeatswallow.com, where you will find many stories about Spain’s delicious cuisine, highlights by “tapas”, small sharable plate of fresh seafood, vegetables, bread and more!

Like these grilled sardines with fresh lemon:
We had these at “Passadis Del Pep”, a restaurant that is widely considered one of the very best for tapas food…we had an amazing lunch there, with course after course of terrific food, and some spanish cava to go with it!

THESE guys approve!
And if you want to compare and contrast, here is a link to the writeup for Cal Pep, one of Barcelona’s most iconic tapas bars!
